CIS is a locally owned Internet Service Provider (ISP) dedicated to delivering reliable, high-speed broadband and exceptional customer service to our community.
Our goal is to keep you informed about your Internet service, account activity, and local updates that matter to you.

SMS/Text Message Program

CIS may send text messages to customers who have opted in to receive communications. These may include:

  • Service notifications (outages, maintenance alerts, restoration updates)
  • Appointment reminders (installations, service calls, or support visits)
  • Billing and account updates (payment confirmations, due date reminders, plan changes)
  • Special promotions or local community announcements

Message frequency will vary based on your account activity and preferences.

You can opt in to receive text messages from CIS by:

  • Submitting your mobile number through your CIS account portal, or
  • Requesting to be added by calling or emailing CIS customer support.

By providing your mobile number and opting in, you consent to receive automated text messages from CIS at the number you provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase or service.

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time

  • To stop receiving messages, simply reply “STOP” to any message you receive from CIS.
  • After you send “STOP,” you will receive one final confirmation message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed.
  • After this, you will no longer receive text messages from CIS unless you opt in again.
